Critical patients get help at Sebaashray camps

Just days into its launch, Sebaashray 2 is already scripting success stories with many getting medical benefits. Under the leadership of Diamond Harbour MP Abhishek Banerjee, the Maheshtala Sebaashray 2 camp has facilitated life-saving, super-speciality treatment for three patients at Apollo Hospital.

Prince Dutta, received expert care from Apollo’s plastic and general surgery teams. Mohammad Sadab, who is a resident of Maheshtala, battling oral cancer, was treated under the supervision of Apollo’s ENT and head-neck specialists. Anurag Pal, referred from Maheshtala Model Camp 2, underwent specialised consultation at the paediatric orthopaedics department.

For these families, Sebaashray 2 was a lifeline. Their families have thanked the camps and the MP.

On Day 6 of Sebaashray 2, 5,162 diagnostic tests ensured early detection and timely action and 5,053 individuals received essential medicines at no cost with 9,322 people visiting the camps for guidance and support. Out of this, 162 patients were referred for advanced treatment.
